Company Statement

LMI (Little Models Inc) priorities are first and foremost to deliver a valuable, enjoyable experience to the children we work with. It is sad, therefore, to find ourselves distracted by a wholly avoidable dispute.

In April 2018, two LMI franchisees breached their contracts. Despite considerable efforts to support, develop and keep these franchisees moving forward, the company was forced, with deep regret, to terminate their franchises (in Liverpool and Manchester).

Following this termination, the two ex-franchisees began a silly, name calling campaign online, into which the company has no intention of entering.

Unfortunately, however, they have made totally false allegations about the company which cannot be overlooked. The matter is therefore now firmly in the hands of our legal teams (solicitors and franchise lawyers), meaning that we are unable to engage in further discussions other than to confirm that:

  • LMI remains committed to providing experiences for children that will give them both confidence and skills that will help them in both modelling and in life.
  • To ensure that all children attending LMI experiences in Manchester and Liverpool continue to be delighted by the experience, we are delighted to announce that our founder, Liz Forshaw herself, will now be leading events at these venues.
  • LMI continues to trade, as ethically and openly as always, and has franchises available across the country for franchisees to develop into their own businesses using the proven LMI methodology.
  • Managing Director Liz Forshaw has worked hard to build LMI from a small modelling academy for children into the opportunity that it is today, for children and franchisees alike. She has reiterated to staff, franchisees, suppliers and customers that we remain open for ‘business as usual’ – better than ever!

Franchises, like any other business, take time to become profitable, and LMI’s people put their hard-earned cash, time and effort into growing their businesses and delivering amazing experiences for customers. They do not deserve the unpleasant treatment that this malicious pair have been meting out; and the children who attend LMI Academy events do not deserve to have their experiences ruined by this vindictive online nastiness.

We encourage anyone with concerns that need addressing or any issues to report, to email Liz Forshaw directly on
